Abstract:
Follows on from "The Gunslinger" and "The Drawing of the Three". Jake is kidnapped by Blaine the Mono. Roland (the knight), Susannah (crippled, but a terrific shot) and Eddie (an ex-junkie), try to rescue him. But they are captured too. They discover that Blaine is a robot and a bored one.
