Abstract:
Ebenezer Scrooge, London's meanest old miser and hater of Christmas, is visited by, first, the ghost of his late associate Jacob Marley (who died just seven years ago that day), then by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and of Christmases Yet to Come, who all show him the error of his ways. All this takes place on Christmas Eve, and, the next morning (Christmas Day), Scrooge awakens as a changed man who embraces Christmas and generosity with all his heart.
